Further education reclassification

Following a review into the classification of further education sector, the Office for National Statistics has reclassified colleges and their subsidiaries in England into the central government sector. There is no automatic impact of this change for LGPS administering authorities, but the Board will be discussing the wider implications of this change with the Department for Education.
